Based on my own recommendation, we have just begun reading this wonderful book here at our one-room school as our Intermediate student's book discussion selection, as it is a book I feel certain that each of our students will benefit enormously from, in a myriad number of ways. "Bravo!" to Scholastic for making this fine trilogy available to a much wider audience. It is well-worth the risk, and I (for one) feel strongly that these are three books that will easily transcend their already wonderfully-rich Welsh origins. In the meanwhile, I'll hope to see many more of Jenny Nimmo's books become available here in the States, as she is a fine writer who deserves to be far more widely read. The Snow spider is an extraordinary book, and Jenny Nimmo is a truly brilliant writer.
